About Chafinity Tea House

Chafinity Tea House is a tea house in Costa Mesa, California. It is listed at 2937 Bristol St, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, which places it among the local businesses of Costa Mesa that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Costa Mesa. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in California are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. Costa Mesa is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Costa Mesa is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

everything is exquisite. Matcha, mochi, interior design.. everything is on point! And I love that you can see them make the matcha in real time. Would come more often if parking weren’t so difficult. A bit pricey but it’s worth it!! A nice spot to hang out and people watch too

Totally unique, one of a kind tiny tea house in a simplicity setting in the corner in the Camp area. Line is long since the weekend and holiday. Menu is simply and some items can run out fast. There are plenty of tables underneath the trees or sounding the area that you can seat and enjoy the tea or coffee matcha. Price wise, can be on the high end but worth it. Parking was a hassle and hectic for us but finally we found a space (10mins). The service is jind, gentle, friendly and sincerely. You can see or/and watch how your drinks are made. Overall it was wonderful experience and make us want to visit Japan again, especially Kyoto.

This place was suggested by my wife. She saw it on socials, and wanted to give it a go. We've been enjoying the matcha lattes recently, so why not add some more options to our explorations. It's located within the Camp, a cute lovely place that feels intimate and cozy. The location of Chafinity was perfect, audio plays in the background that adds to the atmosphere. Their matcha menu is simple and the product we got showcased mastery. My wife got the premium with some maple syrup for sweetness, and I got a blend with no sugar. Both were delicious in their own right. The blend was floral in notes, and it was wonderfully refreshing on a somewhat cool afternoon. My wife's premium matcha was spectacular! Truly a smooth drink, the matcha was vibrant, the added sweetness from the maple syrup wasn't overwhelming either, I would get that next time. I'm gonna recommend this place! You can come here with a friend or by yourself and enjoy a small relaxing and intimate atmosphere to enjoy a conversation and disconnect from the rest of the world with some matcha.

The matcha was good. They even had someone whisking the matcha with a chasen by the window so customers could watch. But it felt a little performative, and the prices were pretty high. I mean, you can probably find similar matcha at other places too.

What an incredible place. My friend ST let me know about this place thanks to Instagram, and WOW! As soon as we got there, there was a long line. The whole Lab plaza is nice. Parking was hard to find due to the many people frequenting the place, and we were blessed to even get a parking spot as soon as we got there. They take the time to provide the best drinks and food in spite of the masses of people; and we are so grateful! You cannot go wrong with any of their menu items in my opinion. I started out with a matcha latte and a mochi. If you eat it at the place, it’s presented in such a beautiful tray. The whole environment is thoughtfully planned to enjoy a beautiful day with a glimpse into what Japanese tea houses must be like. God bless you all+
